Founder – Elaine Hallam

Elaine Hallam has been a Professional Performer since 1976, in 1979 she joined the cast of Godspell for Cameron Mackintosh at the age of 19. She traveled to London from her second year at drama school, for an open audition, with X Factor sized crowds, for an open audition, and after four re-calls landed the part of “Turn Back Oh Man.”

Elaine followed this with landing roles in 8 West End shows and national musical tours, 14 repertory seasons, RSC, The National Theatre, 20 television roles, film and BBC Radio. Elaine is represented currently by Pemberton Associates as an Actress and perfomer, and continues to act and sing professionally, and works regularly as a voice over artist.

Elaine has always sung alongside working as a main stream actress and musical performer. She began teaching and coaching when she became a mum, and has been in demand as an singing, acting, presentation, dialect and accent coach, plus audition preparation coach for the last ten years. She taught at the prestigious Italia Conti School in London, for 4 years. Her pupils during that time included, Jo from S Club 7, Kelly in Liberty X, Ben Forster from Thriller, Mark Ballas & Derek Hough in Strictly Come Dancing USA, A.J.Lewis and Pixie Lott.

Elaine currently Coaches ‘One to One’ sessions in acting and Private Jazz Workshops , Elaine is Artistic Adviser and runs Workshops for Butterup, London’s Premier children’s Agency. Elaine coaches many students, getting them places at The Brit School, RADA, Italia Conti, Arts Ed, Guildford School of Acting, L.A.M.D.A. and The Royal Academy.
